Jana Kramer, an actor and songwriter, who specialises in country music and songwriting rose to prominence in the world of television when she was Alex in the last three seasons on One Tree Hill. On the episodes she was seen performing her first country album. Her album of named Thirty One was placed among the top 20 albums of the Billboard 200's Top 20. The follow-up 2015's Thirty One reached the Top Ten. In the last decade, she appeared on Dancing with the Stars as well in TV movies and a number of television programs. The singer also released several singles, but they weren't albums. The self-doubting Voices came out in 2021. Jana Rae Kramer is a Michigan native that was raised by country music. Although she pursued an acting and recording career however, her screen debut was in the horror independent movie Dead/Undead (2002) while still at high school. Her appearances were in guest spots for All My Children, CSI: NY and Friday Night Lights for the second season of the show 2007-2008. Kramer appeared as Portia Ranson on 90210 2008-2009 and Brooke Manning on Entourage 2009 prior to joining the ensemble of the CW's One Tree Hill as Alex Dupre in 2009. She was on the show until the series' final season in 2012. The track was later featured on Jana Kramer's debut full-length in the mid-2012 timeframe. The track was a part of in the Top Five on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart. Her focus was on her musical career afterward, she did not stop acting. Kramer appeared in movies like Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016 that would be popular with her fan base. The second album of Kramer's Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville on October 15th, 2015. Alongside The Top Five country hit I Got the Boy as well as the duet she did featuring Steven Tyler of Aerosmith it fared even better reaching number three on the country album chart, and tenth in the Billboard 200. Beginning in September of 2016 she stayed for two months in the 23rd season of Dancing with the Stars, which ended with an overall fourth position. That year she also had an adult contemporary smash with"Feels Like Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.
